MLC Staff Member Thomas Elected

Heather Thomas President-Elect of IAAP Michigan Division

Heather Thomas CAP, MLC Training Coordinator II, has been elected president-elect of the Michigan Division of International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) for the year beginning July 1, 2008.

Heather has been a member of IAAP since November 1999 and has served in many roles for her local chapter (Lansing Tuebor) including webmaster, newsletter editor, Vice President, and President (earning the Distinguished Chapter President award two years in a row). She is currently the Communications Secretary for the Division (comprised of 17 chapters throughout the state of Michigan).

IAAP is the world’s leading association for administrative professionals, providing career information, education, networking opportunities, and certification programs. Chapters throughout Michigan (and throughout the world) hold monthly educational meetings and provide resources for career-minded administrative professionals.
