MLC Board Member Mendel Receives RLC Award

MLC is thrilled to announce that MLC Board Member Roger Mendel was awarded the Outstanding Small/Rural Librarian Award at the Loleta Fyan Rural Libraries Conference on April 30, 2009.

This Award recognizes an outstanding leader in the profession who has made a significant contribution to a Michigan library and has invested in efforts to bring about positive change in the small/rural library community. Roger Mendel has worked tirelessly for Michigan small and rural libraries for more than three decades, and he is greatly deserving of this special honor.
