Position open for ILS Training & Support Librarian

ILS Training and Support Librarian

Looking for a challenge? Do you have experience in library training? Have you ever been part of an automated system implementation team? Would you recognize a MARC record if you saw one? If so, we want to talk to you about a job at the Michigan Library Consortium. Join MLC’s Michigan Evergreen open-source shared ILS team and become part of a groundbreaking library project. We aim to bring up Michigan libraries of all sizes and types on Evergreen, and we need your help to train and support libraries participating in the project.

Qualifications:
1. Masters in Library Science from an ALA-accredited library school.
2. Library experience required. Training experience and/or knowledge of MARC and circulation systems desirable.
3. Drivers license.
4. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing

Salary is commensurate with experience (minimum $38,000). MLC offers an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life, and vision insurance.
